Learning and teaching
The consistent high quality of our learning and teaching has been recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) locally and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) globally. The College of Information Technology offers a Computing and Information Systems degree program whic is accredited internationally by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The CAC/ABET accreditation is a quality stamp in computing education and an assurance that the CIS program meets the quality standards set by the Computing profession.

Composed of 2 colleges at the heart of Dubai, University of Dubai's stimulating intellectual climate is fostered by prominent scholars and researchers. The undergraduate division of the university offers over 90 courses and the university awards 9 undergraduate majors. With approximately 1:25 faculty/student ratio, undergraduates get to know their professors, often working with them on individual research projects and assignments. Together, our superb faculty and extraordinary student body create a dynamic learning environment monitored by effective assessment of learning outcomes. Our faculty members serve as role models and shares their expertise through advising, coaching, collaboration and professional networking.
