Overview

Data scientists bring immense value to organizations across various industries by solving complex challenges through data and driving critical decision-making processes. The demand for data scientists is rapidly increasing, yet there remains a significant shortage of qualified professionals. In fact, 54% of the most demanding data science roles require qualifications beyond a bachelor’s degree.

The University of Dubai’s Dubai Business School offers a Micro-Credentials program in Statistics and Data Science (SDS) designed to address this demand. Developed in collaboration with international experts and modeled after the prestigious programs offered by top global universities, this multidisciplinary program comprises four separate tracks, each with four online courses and a virtually proctored exam. The program combines methods-focused courses and domain-specific analysis to provide learners with foundational knowledge and hands-on training in their chosen discipline. Students will complete courses in Probability and Machine Learning, along with two additional courses from their chosen track, and finish with a Capstone Exam.
