Overview
Dr. Parizad Phiroze Dungore is assistant professor of finance and accounting at the Dubai Business School, University of Dubai. She teaches finance and accounting with a proven ability to enhance students’ performance by encouraging creativity and higher order thinking. She is skilled at analysing and expressing financial concepts in a lucid manner. She is an ardent researcher and recently completed a research project “Analysis of Market Microstructure of the Indian Equity Derivative Segment using Artificial Neural Networks” funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). She also received a scholarship from the case centre, UK and successfully completed writing a case “The effect of Jaguar Land Rover Asset Impairment on Tata Motors ltd.” She has articles published on analysing stock market dynamics especially volatility clustering and behavioural finance and has authored textbooks on Indian Financial System, Risk Management and Derivatives and Business Ethics.
