Complete the Application Form
Create your applicant account on the Online Application Portal and activate it via the confirmation email. Then complete each section of the application — personal information, address, English language proficiency, education history, and additional details — upload your required documents, and submit. The convenient online form takes only a few minutes per section.
Application Review
The Admissions team evaluates applications holistically, considering academic performance, English proficiency, supporting documents, and other factors. Your application status updates to Under Review in the portal during this stage.
Initial Screening & Decision
Applications undergo a screening process to confirm they meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen programme. You will then receive an admission decision through the portal and by email — this may be an offer (which can be conditional), or notification that the application was unsuccessful.
Acceptance Confirmation
If you receive an offer, respond before the Offer Due Date shown in the portal:
- Open the Offer Acceptance page, review the details, and select Accept.
- Read and agree to the University's Terms and Conditions.
- Pay the non-refundable admission fee to secure your place in the programme.
Enrollment
Once your offer is accepted and payment is confirmed, the Admissions team begins onboarding and your student account is activated. Next steps include:
- Receiving your student credentials from the University.
- Attending the student orientation programme as notified.
- Registering for your courses for the upcoming semester via the student portal.
Requirements
Graduate Diploma Requirements:
– Passport copy with visa page, Ethabra, and UID number
– Four recent passport-size photos
– Family Book (UAE Nationals) or Al Marsoum (Khulasat Al Qaid)
– Emirates ID copy (front and back)
– Original attested bachelor’s transcript
– Original certificate of graduation
– Master’s transcript and course syllabus (for transfer students)
– Equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education
– Original IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 6.0, or a letter confirming English as the medium of instruction
– Updated CV (required for all graduate program applications)
– Statement of professional career plans (250 words)
– Employment letter (if currently employed)
– Note: If you completed your bachelor’s degree abroad, your certificate must be attested by the following:
Ministry of Education in your home country
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your home country
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE
Embassy or Consulate of your home country in the UAE
After completing these attestations, you must apply for an equivalency letter from the UAE Ministry of Education before proceeding with admission.
Undergraduate Diploma Requirements:
– Applicants must have successfully completed Grades 10, 11, and 12 with attested original high school certificates. If applicable, an Equivalency Certificate issued by the UAE Ministry of Education is required. Applicants must be 18 years or older at the start of the course. All applicants will be interviewed as part of the admissions process.
– If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each band and 6.0 in speaking.
– Program-specific English and academic entry requirements include the following:
For the Bachelor of Business Administration: a high school grade of 80% or higher in English, or a passing score in the University of Dubai English Proficiency Test (UD EPT).
For the Bachelor of Science in Engineering: a high school grade of 80% or higher in English, or a passing score in the UD EPT. Additionally, students must have a high school grade of 80% or higher in Math and Physics, along with either Biology or Chemistry.
For the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology: a high school grade of 80% or higher in English, or a passing score in the UD EPT.
For the Bachelor of Law: a valid IELTS Academic score of 6.0 is required, along with a high school grade of 70% or higher in Math.
– Applicants must submit the following documents: attested high school certificates (Grades 10, 11, and 12), equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education (if applicable), valid English language test results as required for their chosen program, a passport copy with visa page or Ethabara and UID number (for UAE nationals), a copy of the Family Book (for UAE nationals), a copy of the Emirates ID (front and back), and four recent passport-size photographs or one PDF file. UAE national male applicants must also submit a military service letter.
– Transfer students must submit original transcripts from previously attended recognized higher education institutions, along with course syllabi for credit evaluation.
– Applicants who do not meet the standard admission criteria may still be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Academic Director. Consideration will be given to previous academic performance, relevant work experience, and demonstrated life skills.
