This website is owned and managed by the University of Dubai, a licensed higher education institution registered in the United Arab Emirates. In order to maintain the University's website and provide current and future services, the University may collect and store web usage information. This information is used to improve the functionality and content of the site.
This website is hosted and maintained by the University of Dubai. Sub-sites are indicated by the subsite_name.ud.ac.ae domain only. Websites not within the ud.ac.ae domain are external sites and are not controlled by the University of Dubai. University links to external sites do not imply coverage by this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
In common with most websites, this site automatically logs certain information about every request made of it. This information is used for system administration, bug tracking, and producing usage statistics. The logged information may be kept for up to one year.
We may collect and process the following data about you:

2. Payment Card Data & Security
All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties.
If you make a payment for our services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection. The University of Dubai will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.
The University of Dubai takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security, including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, ud.ac.ae cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards in AED (UAE Dirham).
The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder's monthly statement.

The University of Dubai is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. 6. Terms & Conditions for Online Services
By accessing and using the University of Dubai website and its online payment services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
6.1 Governing Law
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile and the governing law is the local law of the UAE.
6.2 Age Restriction
Users of this website who are minors (under the age of 18) shall not register as a user of the website and shall not transact on or use the website's payment services.
6.3 User Account Responsibility
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

7. Payment Confirmation
Upon successful completion of a payment transaction, a payment confirmation will be sent to the registered email address associated with your account within 24 hours. Please ensure your registered email address is accurate and up to date.
8. Refund Policy
The University of Dubai is committed to fair and transparent refund practices in accordance with applicable UAE regulations.
Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 business days depending on the issuing bank of the credit/debit card.
Refunds or cancellations may be considered under the following circumstances:
- The wrong service or product was issued by the University.
- The service or product is defective or not as described.
- A technical error resulted in a duplicate or incorrect charge.
- The service was not delivered within the agreed timeframe.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@ud.ac.ae within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered.
The University reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the above criteria. All refund decisions are final and are made at the discretion of the University's Finance Department.
9. Cancellation & Replacement Policy
Requests for cancellation or replacement of a registered service must be submitted within 3 business days of the transaction date. Cancellation or replacement will be considered under the following conditions:
- The wrong service was issued by the University.
- The service is defective or inaccessible due to a system error.
- The service was not delivered within the agreed timeframe.
- A verified technical or administrative error occurred during processing.

If no cancellation or refund policy applies to a specific service, this will be clearly communicated to the cardholder prior to the purchase decision being made, to prevent misunderstanding and disputes.
10. Delivery & Service Fulfilment Policy
The University of Dubai provides educational and administrative services through its online portal. As the majority of services are digital and academic in nature, physical delivery may not always apply. Where applicable, the following conditions govern service delivery:
- Digital services (transcripts, certificates, enrollment letters) will be processed and delivered electronically within 3 to 7 business days from the date of payment confirmation.
- Physical documents, where applicable, will be dispatched within the UAE within 5 to 10 business days. International delivery timelines may vary.
- Delivery fees, if applicable, will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
- A proof of delivery or electronic confirmation will be retained by the University for audit purposes.
ud.ac.ae will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of the OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of the United Arab Emirates.
