Board of Trustees – Members 2023 :
H.E. Majid Hamad Al Shamsi Chairman of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and Board Member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also the Managing Director of Hamad Rahma Abdulla Al Shamsi General Trading.
H.E. Dr. Raja Al Gurg Vice Chairperson of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and Board Member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is also the Managing Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, the President of Dubai Business Women's Council, and the Deputy Chairperson of the Dubai Medical Authority and a Board member of the Dubai Women’s Association.
H.E. Omar Sultan AlolamaMember of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and serves as the Minister of State for Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence and Remote Work Applications and is the Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.
Mr. Faisal Juma Khalfan Belhoul Member of University of Dubai Board of Trustees, Chairman of Ithmar Capital Partners and Vice-Chairman of the Dubai Chambers, and Dubai Chamber of Commerce. He also chairs the boards of UAE Private Hospitals Council, the UAE Private Schools Councils and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Equipment Business Group.
Dr. Khaled Mohammed Al-KhazrajiMember of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and former Vice-President of Zayed University. He is also Partner and CEO of the Al Kawthar Investment LLC and sits on the boards of various consultancies in the academic, governmental and private sectors such as the Majid Al Futtaim Group.
H. E. Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Al Murr Member of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation. He is also a writer and has published over 15 volumes of short stories and has had two collections translated into English: Dubai Tales and The Wink of the Mona Lisa.
Dr. Ahmed Khalil Al Mutawa Member of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and respected academic professional. He received his Ph.D. in Economics (with Distinction), from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and as a professor, held the position of Chairman of the Economics Department and Deputy Vice Chancellor for Planning (DVCP) at United Arab Emirates University.
H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al-AwarMember of University of Dubai Board of Trustees and the Director-General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR). Dr. Al-Awar is also a board member of The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (TANMIA) and Emirate National Oil Company (ENOC) and has over 15 years of experience in executive roles in the public and private sectors.
H.E. Mohammad Ali LootahMember of the University of Dubai Board of Trustees and President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. Previously he was the Chief Executive Officer - Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection - at Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai.
