The objective of this program is to support the UD mission by providing financial support to incoming freshmen and existing UD undergrad students who meet the Financial Aid guidelines.
The Alumni Relations Office at University of Dubai, which launched the Friends of the University of Dubai Scholarship Funds (AFUDSF) Program back in 2013 in cooperation with the UD Alumni Association Board and led a series of prominent successful fundraising initiatives, is very determined to serve this cause and encourage UD alumni and philanthropists to continue helping students and graduates who are struggling with their study tuitions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must demonstrate financial need through a comprehensive assessment of their family’s income, assets, and expenses.
- Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic progress, meet the minimum GPA requirement of 2.5, and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester as specified by the university.
- The applicant and their official guardian must not be investors in the UAE.
- The applicant must be a registered undergraduate student (UG).
- The combined monthly salary of the applicant’s parents or official guardians must not exceed AED 10,000.
- The applicant is eligible to receive financial aid once per academic year.
- The charity organization reserves the right to approve or reject the application.
- The Financial Aid amount is recommended by UD, with the final decision made by the charity organization.
- Recipients of the fund may be requested to provide a testimonial to support the university’s fundraising campaign.
- Recipients may also be requested to volunteer for specific hours in any UD department as a gesture of giving back to the university.
To be eligible for the Financial Aid, students must complete the application form.

To my dear university, I would like to thank you for admission into the Financial Aid program that helped me to avoid any delays to graduate by providing me with the financial help to register for my last course plus the training. I am thankful and appreciate the gracious offer. I am also proud to be one of UD students. Thank you for every single person who was a reason to me carrying a Supply Chain & Logistics certificate.
One of the main factors that helped me complete my bachelor's degree is the Financial Aid from the university. Having great financial support such as what the university gave me will definitely help you in your studying journey.
