Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum (2009-Present) Honorary President, University of Dubai’s Alumni Association (UDAA) Sheikh Mohammed is a distinguished graduate of the Bachelor's program, having majored in Finance & Banking in 2008. With a wealth of experience, he has held the position of Business Manager at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) since 2005.
Beyond his role at DIFC, Sheikh Mohammed is a prominent figure in Dubai's business landscape, with significant interests in the transportation and hospitality sectors. His strategic vision and leadership have contributed to the growth and success of various ventures.
In May 2009, Sheikh Mohammed graciously accepted the prestigious post of President of the University of Dubai Alumni Association. With a commitment to fostering stronger connections among alumni and advancing the mission of UDAA, he aims to lead the association to even greater heights of achievement in the years to come.

Nasser Al Abdool Chairman, UDAA Nasser embarked on his professional journey as a junior staff member at the National Bank of Dubai while pursuing his higher diploma at Dubai University College (now the University of Dubai). This early experience provided him with the opportunity to integrate cutting-edge information technology into the banking system, automating several manual transactions. Later, he joined Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank as a Personal Banking Supervisor.
In 2007, Nasser graduated from the University of Dubai with a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking. His dedication and aptitude led to his promotion to Branch Manager upon graduation. Inspired by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid's vision of innovation as the key to building a great history for the UAE, Nasser pursued a Master's Degree in Innovation and Change Management at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.
Nasser firmly believes in the importance of professional qualifications in driving organizational growth and profitability. In 2012, after nearly five years of experience managing branches, he was appointed as Regional Manager at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, overseeing nine branches in the Deira Area. Later, he took over Dubai Region with more than 25 branches in 2017 and moved to Abu Dhabi Region in 2022.
Nasser's journey with UDAA began in 2009 when he joined the Board of Directors. His extensive management experience, coupled with his dedication to success and achievement, enriches the Board's deliberations and ensures the continued progress of the organization.

Ali Ahmed Hassan Angizeh Deputy Chairman, UDAA Ali is a distinguished graduate of the Bachelor's program, majoring in Management graduated in 2010. He obtained an Executive MBA from American University of Sharjah in 2014 and completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program with Harvard Business School in June 2019. With over 17 years of work experience at Dubai Airports, he is currently leading Landside and Facilities at Dubai Airports & Dubai World Central.
He held several leadership roles with Dubai Airports where from September 2012 to October 2014, Ali was the Vice President of Cargo & Logistics at Dubai International Airport & Al Maktoum International Airport, leading the operational management of all cargo facilities. From October 2014 to June 2016, he served as Vice President of Airside Operations, where he was fully responsible for developing and implementing a safe and efficient operational strategy. From 2016 to 2018 he held the position Vice President Terminals and Cargo Facilities where he was responsible for the Terminals and cargo operation in Dubai International Airport.
Ali's leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the operational strategies at Dubai Airports, making significant strides in safety, efficiency, and innovation. His dedication to excellence continues to inspire his colleagues and peers in the aviation industry.

Ahmed Khalifa Al Falasi Member, UDAA Ahmed Khalifa Al Falasi, a proud member of UDAA, graduated from the Bachelor's program with a major in Management in 2006. Following his graduation, he embarked on a distinguished career path, initially serving at the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department. Later, he transitioned to Dubai Media Incorporated, where he assumed the role of Director of Strategy & Corporate Excellence.
Currently, Ahmed holds a pivotal position with the Dubai Government Human Resources Department as General Manager - Partnership Relations. In this capacity, he plays a significant role in fostering collaborations and strategic alliances that contribute to the advancement of the government's human resources initiatives.
Ahmed's commitment to excellence and dedication to continuous improvement are evident in his professional achievements. He is a Certified European Excellence Assessor from the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) and a recipient of the Dubai Excellence Award Program (DGEP), reflecting his unwavering pursuit of excellence in every endeavor. His leadership and contributions continue to inspire those around him, making him an invaluable member of both UDAA and the broader community.

Dr. Abeer Abdulla Ali Abdulla AlSumaiti Member, UDAA Dr. Abeer is a distinguished member of UDAA, holding a Ph.D. degree from the University of Dubai. She also possesses a Master of Strategic HR Management and a Master of Sustainable Design in the Built Environment from various reputable universities. Dr. Abeer's academic pursuits have been supplemented by valuable training experiences, including the "Master Students Exchange Program" at Cardiff University, Wales, UK, the Leadership & Multiculturalism Course at Al-Maktoum Institute, Dundee, Scotland, and the G.C.C- Hungarian Youth Exchange Program in Budapest, Hungary, in 2008. She has completed a number of programs through Harvard Business School, and completed an online course through MIT.
Dr. Abeer's research contributions are widely recognized, as evidenced by her authorship of conference papers such as "Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), Work Engagement and Job Satisfaction among selected employees in the United Arab Emirates during the early stages of the pandemic," "DNA for HR Leaders," and "The Effect of Indoor Air Quality on Occupants’ Health and Performance in Office Buildings in Dubai."
Currently, Dr. Abeer serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Emirates Development Bank. Her leadership in HR management and her dedication to promoting sustainable practices in the built environment are commendable. Dr. Abeer's expertise and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to both UDAA and Emirates Development Bank.

Mohammed Hamdan Alshehhi Member, UDAA Mohammed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University. He currently works as a Technical Lead in Automation and AI Expert at Etisalat. With a wealth of certifications, including the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer Advanced 2019 Certificate, ITIL Expert certification, and Cisco Certified Network Associate, Mohammed brings a robust expertise in Digital Transformation, Robotics, HR Sourcing Strategy, and Engineering. His dedication to advancing technology is evident through his contributions at Etisalat, where he drives innovation and efficiency. Mohammed's expertise in automation and AI is not only a testament to his skills but also his commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. He is a true leader in his field, continuously inspiring others to embrace the future of technology.

Fahad Anoohi Member, UDAA Fahad holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is an accomplished Auditor with extensive experience. He is deeply committed to enhancing corporate compliance, workflow, and procedures through meticulous audits and optimization suggestions.
Currently, Fahad serves as an Internal Audit Specialist at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). In this role, he leverages his expertise to ensure the integrity and efficiency of internal processes, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of DEWA.

Ammar Bin Rasheed Member, UDAA Ammar Bin Rasheed holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking and is a dynamic entrepreneur in the tech industry. He is the Founder & of Monet LTD & Monet Capital L.L.C. Currently, Ammar is furthering his expertise by pursuing the "Alternative Investments" course/diploma from Harvard Business School.

Rashid Khalil Obaid Ali Al Bishri Member, UDAA Rashid Khalil Obaid Ali Al Bishri is a distinguished member of UDAA. Rashid holds a Master of Law in Arbitration & Dispute Resolution, Financial Crimes & Money Laundering. Having cultivated a wealth of knowledge as an accomplished Lawyer, he brings specific expertise to the legal fraternity.
Rashid is the distinguished owner of Rashid Obaid Advocates & Legal Consultant, where his leadership is demonstrated with high quality integrity & excellence.
Rashid is known throughout his international & domestic networks for his calculated skillfulness in the handling of legal matters in , arbitration, dispute resolution, financial crimes & money laundering. He is committed to consistently uphold the law & serve all his clients with dedicated integrity.
Rashid’s contributions extend beyond the professional legal realm, as he engages in both community initiatives in benefit to the advancement of legal education & practice. His individual leadership make him an invaluable asset to UDAA and a significant benefit to larger legal community.

Amer Rashed AlMehairi Member, UDAA Amer Rashed Al Mehairi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. With over 20 years of experience in specialized technical and administrative roles, he has demonstrated exceptional skills in implementing service strategies, recruitment, smart services, and the development of services and projects.
Currently, he serves as the Director of the Command & Smart Control Center at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he has received the Medal of Excellent Service and the Medal of Sincere Service from Dubai Police.
Mr. AlMehairi is also an esteemed member of the European Liaison Officers Organization, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and IPT. His dedication to excellence and his impactful work continue to inspire and benefit the broader community.

Khalid Khadim Member, UDAA Emirati professional with over 13 years of HR experience in the Telecom and Digital Government sector. He has successfully managed several projects focused on leadership upskilling and employee capacity building. Certified as a Chartered MCIPD and holding a Master’s degree in HR and Leadership from the University of Dubai, he also holds certifications in SHRM-PMQ, MBTI-step II practitioner, and the Kirkpatrick four levels evaluation model practitioner, CPMP.
He has lead various innovative projects endorsed by the Global Innovation Body (GINI) and has played a crucial role in revamping the learning strategy within the organization to cultivate a lifelong learning culture.
As the Head of Talent Management, he oversees a spectrum of activities including manpower planning, talent attraction and retention, career development, and performance management.
Driven by a passion for talent development, he actively seeks collaboration with experts to thrive and apply best practices.

Mohammed Shael Al Saadi Founder and Honorary Life Member Mohammed is a graduate of the Bachelor's program, majoring in Management. He also holds a Master’s in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong, a Master of Science in Professional Studies, City Science & Smart Cities from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Management at the University of Dubai. He holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Business Developments & Strategy Sector at Dubai Economy.
Since joining Dubai Economy in 2008, Al Saadi has made significant contributions to streamlining business activities in Dubai and supporting investor relations with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, transparency, and modern technology. He is a member of the Dubai Smart City Initiative (DSCI) executive committee. Al Saadi is a strategic thinker and prolific speaker, frequently invited to address regional and international audiences on business competitiveness and the ongoing efforts to achieve Dubai’s Smart City vision. His dedication to innovation and excellence continues to drive progress and inspire those around him.
