Job Fair

An annual event held every March. Companies representing various industries and sectors are invited for the purpose of hiring students for internships, training, and/or part-time and full-time employment. Companies are welcome to participate in this event – they are asked to fill out the Job Fair Registration Form. (Job Fair Registration Form) Open Days – Like a mini job fair, companies are invited all year round to recruit students for their various job vacancies. On-the-spot interviews are conducted with shortlisted candidates invited either for another round of interviews or assessments followed by a job offer. Companies can reserve their place for Open Day by filling out the registration form.  (registration form) On–campus recruitment (OCR)– Companies recruiting for their current vacancies conduct on-campus interviews of shortlisted candidates. Some companies may conduct a presentation and a small networking event afterwards followed by the actual interview sessions

Job Fair

(registration form) Video Conference / Skype – The University is equipped to facilitate conference calls / web meetings for regional and international placements. Regarding sponsorship, companies who would like to recruit students for their sponsorship program are requested to send an email toicdc@ud.ac.ae Company visits – We welcome an opportunity for our students to visit your offices so they may be informed of your products and services, initiatives and daily operations. Kindly email icdc@ud.ac.ae if you are able to host our students for a day to visit your workplace. Guest Speaker Series – Industry practitioners and professionals are invited to share their knowledge and best practices in the industry with UD students. Student Engagement International exposure and learning is also given to students through the Student Exchange Program with partner universities in Europe and the USA as well as through participation in Business Plan Competitions, and in International and Local Conferences and Educational Trips. UD is also home to Professional Clubs such as the International Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Society for Advancement of Management. UD students have proven their mettle by winning awards in various business competitions, including Unilever’s “Idea Trophy” and KPMG’s “Ace the Case”. Local and International Conferences and Trips –  Students gain invaluable learning experience, expand their business network, and develop a deeper understanding of their subject by attending prestigious conferences and seminars. Alumni Student Mentoring Program Sponsorship – Certain companies provide sponsorships to assist deserving yet financially-challenged students with their financial obligations. Company Visits – Students are encouraged to participate in company visits to familiarize themselves with business activities and possible current opportunities (internship or employment) of a chosen organization.
