QAIE Mission

The mission of the Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness (QAIE) Office is to foster a culture of
quality, continuous improvement, and accountability across the academic and administrative units at UD.
The primary aim is to ensure and enhance the quality of education, research, and services provided by
the university.

QAIE Objectives

The objectives of QAIE Office at UD are listed below

Institutional Planning

  • To assure that the academic and administrative policies and procedures at UD are complying with the CAA and international standards.
  • To assess the achievement of the strategic goals of the administrative departments at UD.

Institutional Research

  • Accurate reporting of information to ministry, accrediting bodies and enhance stakeholder satisfaction and feedback through regular surveys and collection of feedback.
  • To provide recommendations and action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
  • To conduct Institutional Research (benchmarking, QAIE annual reports, cohort analysis, achievement of learning outcomes, satisfaction rates, etc.) to assist the decision-making and assure the achievement of the University strategic goals.

Quality Assurance

  • To assure continuous quality enhancement by regularly monitoring, reviewing, assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the supporting services and the administrative units and to achieve full compliance with ministry standards.
  • To monitor and ensure the audit of course, files based on CAA Standards and best practice.
  • To develop methods and procedures for the assessment of learning outcomes, the measurement of program effectiveness, and the enhancement of teaching and learning.
  • To create, manage and maintain all information related to each college and department in a UD wide shared filing system to enhance accessibility, version control and overall efficiency in document management.
  • To manage and regularly update all institutional documents.

Rankings & Accreditation

  • To manage and prepare for the requirements of national and international accreditation and licensure, in cooperation with the academic and administrative units.
  • TEnsure the timely submission of clean, accurate, an verifiable institutional data to global ranking agencies in order to support the University’s global positioning and reputation.
