Incubator Services

The IEBC’s business incubator provides startups and budding entrepreneurs with a comprehensive suite of services to accelerate their growth. Being part of the incubator means access to experienced mentors, dedicated workspace, and a supportive community that functions as a springboard by providing the specialized tools needed for startups to grow and innovate. These offerings are designed to help founders navigate common early-stage challenges as they develop their ventures. IEBC offers several key incubator services:

One-on-one guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and faculty. Mentors help incubator teams refine their business models, validate their ideas, and develop effective strategies for product development, marketing, and scaling up. This personalized coaching ensures that startups learn from real-world expertise and avoid common pitfalls.

Access to a dedicated co-working space and office facilities on campus. Incubated startups are provided with workstations, meeting rooms, high-speed internet, and relevant office amenities. This creative workspace environment enables teams to collaborate daily and build their business in a professional setting. (Any necessary specialized equipment or technical resources from the university, such as labs or software, can also be made available as needed.)

Exclusive training programs and advanced workshops tailored for incubated teams. Topics may include venture finance, legal essentials for startups, intellectual property, advanced pitching skills, and growth hacking techniques. These practical sessions build on general workshops by diving deeper into the knowledge areas crucial for launching and managing a startup.

Support in securing seed funding and investment opportunities. IEBC connects startups with potential funding sources by organizing pitch days with angel investors and venture capitalists, providing introductions to grant programs, and helping teams refine their investor pitches and business plans. The center may also offer or facilitate small seed grants or prize funding for exceptional projects to jump-start their development.

Facilitating connections to a broader entrepreneurship ecosystem. Incubator members get introductions to corporate partners, service providers, and alumni entrepreneurs. IEBC regularly hosts networking mixers, demo days, and collaboration with other innovation hubs, ensuring that startup teams build relationships with potential clients, partners, and suppliers. These networks can open doors to pilot projects, internships, and media exposure for the startups.
