Adel Oulefki is an Assistant Professor at the University of Dubai and a
former Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the City University of New York (CUNY),
where he received the prestigious Fulbright Researcher Grant to conduct
cutting-edge research in medical imaging and artificial intelligence. He
holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and was a Postdoctoral Research
Fellow at the University of Sharjah, contributing to Digital Twin and smart
campus projects on energy efficiency and intelligent systems. Previously, he
served as Research Director and Head of External Relations at CDTA,
Algeria, guiding strategic initiatives and international collaborations. Dr.
Oulefki has acted as Co-Chair of Finance and Web for international
conferences, contributed to peer review and editorial activities, and
published in high-impact journals such as Pattern Recognition and Energy
and Buildings. His research is application-oriented, spanning Digital Twins,
AI, IoT, and embedded systems for smart cities and healthcare innovation.
