Overview
Dr. Ahmad Said Ibrahim Alshuaibi is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of Dubai. He holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia, where his research explored the interplay between HR practices, leadership styles, and workplace behavior, particularly in higher education institutions.
Dr. Alshuaibi has over a decade of academic experience across leading institutions in the UAE, including IMT Dubai, Canadian University Dubai, and Curtin University Dubai. He teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subjects such as Strategic HRM, Organizational Behavior, International Business Strategy, and Leadership. His academic approach integrates practical insights with evidence-based teaching, reflecting his belief in education as a driver of organizational and social transformation.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Alshuaibi has led and facilitated executive training and industry-focused workshops on topics such as employee engagement, internal branding, sustainable leadership, and workforce performance. He has designed and delivered training programs for professionals in the public and private sectors, both within the UAE and internationally.
His research interests lie in human resource management, organizational sustainability, cyberdeviance, and employer branding. He has published in several high-impact journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, and the Journal of Strategy and Management. He also actively supervises postgraduate research and serves as a reviewer for leading peer-reviewed journals.
