Overview
Dr. Claude Fachkha (Member, IEEE) received his Bachelor of Engineering in computer and communication from Notre Dame University in 2008. Furthermore, Claude obtained his Master’s in information systems security engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University Canada in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Claude is a recipient of the prestigious Fonds de Recherche du Quebec – Nature et Technologies (FQRNT) award from Canada. He served as Technical Editor for the IEEE Communication Magazine. He has 39 publications including book chapters, journals, and conference papers. He is currently an assistant professor at the College of Engineering and IT, University of Dubai. Furthermore, he is a co-founder at Steppa Cyber Inc. Canada. His research interests are in the areas of cyber security, data science, IoT, data mining, and machine learning.
