Dr. Hussam Al Hamadi is an Associate Professor in the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) at the University of Dubai, where he serves as the Program Director of the Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS) and Head of the Cyber-Security and Applied Resilience (C-SAR) Center. Dr. Al Hamadi received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ajman University and subsequently earned both his MSc and PhD in Computer Engineering from Khalifa University. His academic background is complemented by several internationally recognized professional certifications, including MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CBP, and CTP.

With more than 20 years of academic, research, and industry experience, Dr. Al Hamadi began his professional career in 2005 as a Technical Instructor at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He joined Khalifa University in 2010 as a Teaching Associate and later became a Research Scientist at the Khalifa University Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (C2PS) in 2017. During his tenure, he contributed to the development and delivery of graduate courses in cybersecurity and supervised numerous master's research projects. He also played a key role in strengthening collaborations between academia and industry, leading to multiple funded research projects, strategic partnerships, and innovation initiatives. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity, Security of Artificial Intelligence, Secure Software Engineering, Cyber-Physical Systems Security, Blockchain Security, Digital Forensics, Zero Trust Architectures, Formal Verification, Smart City Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and Autonomous Systems Security. His research has resulted in more than 79 peer-reviewed publications, with an h-index of 22 (Scopus), and continues to contribute to high-impact international research in cybersecurity and resilient intelligent systems.

Dr. Al Hamadi has held several distinguished academic and professional positions. He served as a Visiting Professor at United Arab Emirates University (Spring 2023), Risk Champion at the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Institute of Khalifa University (2021–2022), and Secretary of the IEEE UAE Section (2019–2022). He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the IEEE UAE Section (2023–2026), Senior Member of IEEE, International Collaborator at the SESAR Lab, University of Milan (Italy), External Investigator at Zayed University, and Academic and Industrial Advisory Board Member for a number of organizations.
