Dr. Lamees M. Al Qassem is an Assistant Professor at the University of Dubai (UD). She received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before joining UD, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Khalifa University.

Her research interests span artificial intelligence, Arabic natural language processing (ANLP), cloud computing, microservice architectures, privacy-preserving AI, and educational technology, including augmented and virtual reality. She has published her work in leading Q1 journals and top-tier international conferences and serves as a reviewer for several high-impact journals.

Dr. Al Qassem is actively engaged in student mentorship, with her co-advised projects achieving top national recognition, including the first-place award in the Undergraduate Research Competition 2023.
