Simos Chari is Professor of Marketing & Strategy. His research examines how organisations formulate, implement, and adapt strategy in dynamic and technology-enabled environments. His work spans marketing strategy implementation, strategic change, organisational resilience and responsiveness, alongside a growing research agenda on AI-enabled strategic decision-making and the capabilities underpinning AI transformation. Professor Chari’s research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, European Journal of Operational Research, British Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, and Journal of Business Ethics, and other highly regarded outlets. Professor Chari has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, EMBA, executive, and doctoral programmes. He has designed and delivered intellectually rigorous, practice-oriented, and internationally relevant curricula in marketing and strategy and has substantial experience in programme leadership, curriculum development, doctoral and executive education.
