Overview
Dr. Tracie Scott is an Assistant Professor at the University of Dubai and holds an appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Social Sciences at Heriot Watt University. She is the Co-Editor of the British Journal of Canadian Studies, as well as a member of the Corporate Law & Governance Editorial Board. While her research specialises in law and Indigenous peoples in Canada relating to self-government and land rights (publishing Postcolonial Sovereignty? The Nisga’a Final Agreement in 2012), she has written on broader aspects of human rights, constitutional law and corporate governance. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, with over 20 years’ experience teaching law including contract law, corporate law, property law, constitutional and administrative law.
