Dr. Vishnu Nair is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Dubai, specialising in Law and Technology, International Law, and Intellectual Property. He holds a PhD in International Law and also holds an Honorary Lectureship at the School of Law, University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He brings a holistic and practice-oriented approach to legal education, informed by experience spanning legal academia and professional practice. He has participated in academic programmes conducted at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Peace Palace, The Hague, and has presented his work at international conferences across Europe and Asia. He is actively engaged in clinical legal education, including training students for international moot court, arbitration, and client counselling competitions. His research focuses on AI and blockchain regulation, digital governance, international law, and international legal relations, with publications in SCOPUS- and WoS-indexed journals.
