Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems – Artificial Intelligence at the University of Dubai is a four-year, 123-credit-hour programme designed to prepare students for careers in artificial intelligence, computing, data and information systems. The BSc in Computing and Information Systems is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, providing students with a high-quality academic foundation that combines computing knowledge, business understanding and practical skills.
Students develop core competencies in Python programming, data structures and algorithms, database management, operating systems, networking, data analytics, information systems security and IT project management. They then progress to specialised artificial intelligence courses in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence.
The programme combines theoretical learning with practical application through computing projects, capstone courses and an internship or industry project. Graduates gain the technical, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills required to design, develop and manage AI-enabled solutions across a wide range of industries.
