Following the announcement of their 2016 Reading Competitionís five winners, the University of Dubai (UD) in collaboration with Umm Al Moumineen Association organized on February 14^th, 2017 an ìAward Distribution Ceremonyî to honor the winners and recognize exceptional efforts and contributions. During the event, UD President Dr. Al Bastaki, Executive Manager of Umm Al Moumineen Association Asmaa Shahdad, and Director of Ajman Educational Zone Mr. Ali Hassan Mohammed granted the 25,000 AED cash award for the top five in addition to trophies and certificates of appreciation for more than 20 representatives from both partners and participating educational institutions. Unique trophies were handed over to Manar Al Eman Charity School, Ajman Educational Zone, and Media Sponsor Mr. Abdullah AlShehhi from Roeyat Al Emarat. In the ì2017 Year of Givingî, UD and the association are looking forward to organizing and planning special events dedicated to charity.
