The Department of Student and Alumni Affairs at the University of Dubai (UD) held on November 17^th its ìHONOR STUDENTS EVENT PROTOCOL 2015-2016î at UDís new campus† to recognize and celebrate the outstanding studentsí achievements in the presence of UD President Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, deans, staff, faculty members along with the honored studentsí families and friends. More than 140 students received trophies and certificates presented by Dr. Al Bastaki and the heads of their departments for successfully managing their time by participating in extracurricular activities yet maintaining high GPAs. The Director of Student and Alumni Affairs Ms. Amina El Marzak expressed her gratitude and happiness for witnessing the success of UD students who have made their parents, friends, and professors proud throughout the year 2015-2016. ìEvery year, we all wait for this day to honor the students who were successfully able to challenge themselves, expand their knowledge horizon, and explore new learning techniques at UDís Dubai Business School, the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the College of Law programs,î she concluded.
