Muna Darweesh

Muna received a B.Sc in  Electrical and Electronic and an M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Khalifa University, UAE in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Currently, she is a lecturer at the University of Dubai with more than five years of experience in teaching at the college level.  Muna is an active researcher in signal and image processing, especially Hyperspectral biomedical images, and she has published many articles in Remotee Senesing.  Recently, she has been awarded a full scholarship program in the Data Nonodegree program from Udecity. Muna was awarded the best presentation award at the 2019 IEEE 4th International Conference on Image, Vision, and Computing conference.  She is the third-place winner in the student paper contest at the 2016 IEEE 59th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS) Conference. She secured first place in the student competition at the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Communications, Signal Processing, and their Applications. Muna has experience in circuit design and hardware implementation. She is certified by Huawei as an ICT associate in artificial intelligence. She is an active volunteer in IEEE and supports engineering education initiatives.
