Student Exchange

Students must be nominated by their University
Speak with the exchange student coordinator at your University and request to be nominated
- For undergraduate students the nomination period deadline for an upcoming Fall semester is May 30th and the nomination period deadline for an upcoming Spring semester is Sept 30.
- For graduate students the nomination period is June 30th for the upcoming term 1 & 2 and October 30th for the upcoming term 3 & 4.
- Transcripts
- Passport and photo
- English Proficiency test
Nomination deadline is the cut off period for when a student can be nominated by their respective university for the student exchange program. The Application deadline is the cut off period for when a student can apply for the student exchange program after they have been nominated by their university.
- For undergraduate student the application deadline is June 15th for an upcoming fall semester and October 15th for an upcoming spring semester
- For Graduate students the deadline is July 15th for term 1 & 2 and November 15th for terms 3 & 4.

We accept students from both partner and non-partner universities
Some student applicants may require a visa to enter the UAE. Fill out the visa application form Here and pay the visa fee (net of all charges) as per University of Dubai bank details. The visa form and visa payment receipt should be sent to oeir@ud.ac.ae and to nhaja@ud.ac.ae.
The office of External and (OEIR) international relations at the university of Dubai will help you through the process of securing your student visa.
UD has no accommodation on campus, however there are affordable accommodations nearby and they may also offer free shuttle service to and from UD campus.

Visiting Delegation
The Visiting Delegation program supports short term group visits to UD campus. The Visiting Scholars program supports individual visits or exchange of varying duration.

Visiting Scholars
Visiting scholars can teach, conduct collaborative research, project consultancy work, guest speakers, supervise thesis for MBA and PHD students.
