The Master of Laws program (LLM) at the University of Dubai organized on March 13^th, 2017 a seminar about ìCommercial Disputes and Arbitration in the Sportís Sector.î The seminar, which took place at UD, was presented by David Casement Queenís Counsel, specializing in chancery and commercial arbitration and litigation. Dr. Mohammad Rababía, Acting Director of the LLM program, along with a group of LLM students, business and legal professionals attended the seminar where Mr. Casement discussed the nature of commercial disputes in sport,†best practices in arbitration, strategy in dispute resolution and the role of mediation in future resolutions. Dr. Rababaía thanked Mr. Casement for his presentation and urged LLM students to further pursue studies and researches in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. The College of Laws at UD offers two majors in its Master of Law degree; Arbitration & Dispute Resolution and Financial Crimes & Money Laundering.
