The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at the University of Dubai hosted on February 20^th, 2017 UDís first ìNational Qualification Authority (NQA)î training workshop where three keynote speakers from NQA and two from UD shared their thoughts and experience on the topic. The workshop, which was directed to all UD faculty members and PhD students, carried the title of ìAligning Higher Education Programs to the QF Emiratesî and highlighted the key architecture of the Qualification Framework Emirates (QF Emirates). It also defined and described alignment in terms of its impact on underlying practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
