On Wednesday, November 12, The Dubai Municipality launched a week-long clean-up campaign in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). UD students participated in the campaign by cleaning Al Sufouh Beach, Jumeirah.Clean Up the World engages an estimated 35 million volunteers in 130 countries each year, making it one of the largest community based environmental campaigns in the world.
