Research
Christian’s research focuses on business law, commercial law, banking law, financial law and financial technology (fintech) law. He has published various peer-reviewed articles and book reviews and presented his research at various conferences around the world. He has special interests in central counterparties (CCPs) and clearing and settlements systems, payment systems, consumer protection, financial regulation and legal issues concerning the international financial markets. He is also conducting research in various areas of fintech, with a particular focus on the legal and regulatory aspects of crypto-exchanges and crypto-assets. He is a current member of the New York State Bar.
