Overview
Christine Markarian received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Paderborn University, Germany, her M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University, Lebanon, and her B.S.in Mathematics from Haigazian University, Lebanon. She is currently an assistant professor of computer science at the College of Engineering and IT Department of University of Dubai. Her research interests include combinatorial optimization, design and analysis of algorithms, online algorithms, operations research, distributed computing, cloud computing, wireless networks, robotics, and cyber security. Markarian is a member of IEEE and Mathematical Reviews. She has served/serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals and conferences including Ad-hoc Networks, Journal of Theoretical Computer Science, Symposium on Parallelism in Algorithms and Architectures (SPAA), International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2017), Swarm Intelligence Journal (SI), International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science (MFCS), Algorithms and Data Structures Symposium (WADS), Annual ACM Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing (PODC), International Colloquium on Structural Information and Communication Complexity (SIROCCO) Conference on Algorithms & Complexity (CIAC).
