Overview
Sara has been in teaching for the past 18 years and has developed and taught variety of English related courses for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. She has held various positions in Language departments at pre-tertiary and tertiary levels in the UK, Germany and the UAE such as Director of Studies, Academic Advisor and Senior Lecturer. Her areas of expertise are in Linguistics and English Language Teaching, Learning and Assessment. Her previous projects were in analysing syntax in different languages i.e. Turkish, German, Russian, Hindi, Azerbaijani, and her current project is on Emirati dialect. Along with linguistic research, content writing is also practiced for various English courses designed for language skills. Presently, she is a Lecturer at the University of Dubai teaching specialised English courses to students from different colleges as well as the Supervisor for EmSAT exams for the Ministry and IELTS.
