† The Provost of the University of Dubai (UD) Dr. Geoffrey Gachino and a number of UD faculty members welcomed on November 1^st, 2016 a German delegation headed by H.E. Mayor Feldman, Mayor of Frankfurt, and Prof. Frank Dievernich, President of the University of Frankfurt for Applied Sciences (UFAS).   Dr. Gachino thanked the delegation for their visit and stated that ìUD is looking forward to establishing strong academic relationships with accredited international universities like UFAS.î Professor Ananth Rao, Director of UD International Office, offered a detailed presentation about UD and its faculties, research and development centers.   Followed by Prof. Raoís speech, Prof. Dievernich delivered a presentation about UFAS, its colleges, and academic and research role in Germany.   At the end of the meeting, the delegation toured UD campus as the Mayor thanked UD for the opportunity to exchange business and academic ideas and pledged full support for future agreement between UD and UFAS.
