The Center for Executive Development at the University of Dubai in partnership with Dubai SME is conducting the ìWitness Innovation Programî for its 2nd batch. Within 8 months, this intensive program is uniquely geared for budding entrepreneurs or business persons with innovative business ideas enabling them to enroll and learn the ropes of conducting their business in a successful way. The program combines training, mentoring, and networking sessions to give inputs to the trainees on preparing an effective action plan for running their business. It is also fully sponsored by CITIGROUP- the CSR arm of Citibank.
In the current batch, there are 25 participants each with unique business ideas. The first batch also had 25 participants some of whom took their ideas to the next stage by seeking capital for commercializing their business. It is worth noting that there is a considerable number of female participants in this program most of whom are working mothers too. Over the last 12 years, the University of Dubai has been working in close collaboration with CITIGROUP to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
