The Center for Executive Development at the University of Dubai (CED-UD), in collaboration with ICN Business School in France, organized a training workshop on “Innovation in Design and Marketing” for the marketing and creative departments at “Level Shoes” company from Chalhoub Group.
Dr. Marcel Saucet, expert in Innovative Marketing expert, and Dr. Julian Boow, Head of Marketing at Level Shoes, delivered two presentations about the significance of innovation in marketing during the workshops at the University of Dubai. They also emphasized the importance of using the right tools at the right time and discussed how to design successful strategic marketing plans that meet the target audience’s expectations and interests.
As part of stimulating creativity and innovation, participants brainstormed their ideas while roaming around the green and sustainable campus of the University.
The Director of CED Dr. Vidya Nandagobal said that the University of Dubai is preparing to hold a series of workshops in collaboration with Dr. Saucet and ICN University to develop marketing concepts and stimulate the role of continuous innovation, especially with the emergence of digital marketing and artificial intelligence channels.
Dr. Saucet said that the University of Dubai ‘s interest in providing these workshops supports innovative marketing concepts that are in line with Dubai’s commercial and economic trends.
Dr. Boow said: “Level Shoes needs such opportunities to think outside the box and reconsider different marketing avenues because we want to innovate before planning for our 2018 marketing plan.” “This innovative and green building of the University of Dubai has helped us come up with new thinking strategies and look at things from different perspectives.”
