Position Title: Senior Administrator – QAIE
Department: QAIE
Positions reporting to the incumbent: None
Reports to: QAIE Manager

PART I – Job Purpose
Briefly state the primary objective or purpose of this position in one or two sentences.

This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes and institutional effectiveness initiatives within the higher education institution. This role contributes to enhancing overall academic and administrative excellence through data analysis, assessment, and planning.

 

PART II – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Describe the major duties and responsibilities of the position and assign a number in order of their importance.

 

Institutional Planning:

  •  Collaborate with various departments, including academic and administrative units to collect data and calculate indicators.

 

Institutional Research:

  • Help analyze assessment data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Design and implement workspace structures in Faculty Success to monitor faculty activities.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises for institutional purposes.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and trends for decision-making.
  •   Assist in preparing University documents such as the Fact Book, Catalogs, Handbooks, ranking submissions etc.
  •  Serve as the lead for the Digital Measures software: provide training to faculty, ensure it is being updated, pull reports, continue to develop the program for UD usage (FDP, reports) etc.

 

Ranking & Accreditation:

  • Lead in preparing reports required for compliance with regulatory agencies (MoE, CAA), accreditation bodies and ranking entities.
  •  Support the submission of various university international rankings by leading the collection of data.

 

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations of various institutional processes, programs, and services to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks. (ie course files, AOL practices, SC etc.)
  • Assist in designing assessment tools and methodologies to measure student attainment of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) effectively.  Work with faculty on AOL.  Implement and use Planning a Self-Study software.
  • Execute the collection, organization, and analysis of institutional data related to quality assurance and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs on new processes.

 

Other:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness and understanding of quality assurance processes.
  • Assist QAIE with other ad hoc projects.

PART IV – SPECIFICATIONS

 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Higher Education Administration, Business Administration) is typically required; a Master’s degree in related field preferred

 

EXPERIENCE

– number of years/industry served/ number of years with the company: 2 -3 years of experience

Experience needed in terms of years of experience and industry/job exposure, both inside and outside company, to perform duties: 3-5 years experience

 

COMPETENCIES –  

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, institutional effectiveness, accreditation, or related fields within an educational institution or relevant industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Innovative and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
