Position Title: Senior Administrator – Registration
Department: Registration Department
Reports to: Registrar, Registration Department

Position summary

As the Senior Administrator of the Registration Department you will be responsible for overseeing the registration processes for students needing assistance beyond the online student portal. This role involves providing support to students on both front-end and back-end aspects.

Main Duties:

 Helping students with registration and add/drop procedures and collaborating with continuing students and their advisors during registration periods.

Managing various student requests, including:

  • Reviewing physical file data of students.
  • Assisting in arranging study courses outside UD.
  • Dealing with withdrawal and registration holds.
  • Handling changes in majors/programs of study.
  • Assigning Degree Audits.
  • Resolving student holds issues.
  • Facilitating graduate degree certificate handovers (clearance form).
  • Managing concerns related to sponsored students and communicating directly with sponsors.
  • Performing data input tasks and keeping track of class offerings.
  • Assisting in generating reports such, as class offerings, registered students, majors, nationalities, etc. following CHEDS data report guidelines.
  • Maintaining the correctness of student information in CAMS, such as majors, contact numbers, enrollment statuses and more.
  • Addressing room reservation inquiries within CAMS.
  • Taking care of responsibilities like handling phone calls responding to emails and fulfilling tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Reviewing/Auditing students’ physical files submitted by the admissions team.
  • Supporting in overseeing midterm and final examinations.

The individual occupying this role should exhibit adeptness in handling pressure and possess a problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions. Report writing, and record maintenance is essential. It is imperative to maintain open communication with the university registrar, ensuring transparency regarding progress and issues. Attributes such as credibility, flexibility, and honesty are important in this position.

Education: A bachelor’s degree is usually required, preferably in fields such as Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline. 

Experience: Significant experience in administrative roles within higher education institutions is essential.

Familiarity in areas related to student records, academic programs, enrollment management.
