The University of Dubai (UD) has welcomed delegations from three international universities; University of Seoul, Lipscomb University, and University of Colorado. The first delegation from the University of Seoul was headed by its President Dr. Yunhi Won, its Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Sehyun AHN, Assistant to the President Mr. Geunjoo LEE and Senior Program Coordinator Ms. Jean Song. The meeting started with a tour around UD campus followed by a meeting with UDís management headed by Dr. Geoffrey Gachino, Provost. During the meeting, both institutions introduced their universities and discussed possible academic collaborations. The second delegation from Lipscomb University consisted of twenty students accompanied by their faculty advisors Dr. Philip Pfeffer and Mr. Bart Liddle. They visited the university to know more about ìThe UAE Economyî and ìHow to Do Business in Dubai.î UDís Marketing Department gave an introduction about UD while the Presidentís Advisor for Strategic Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Tabche provided an overview about the UAE economy. Mr. Ayman Al Awadhi from the Corporate Group delivered an informative session about business in Dubai. The third delegation was represented by a group of 11 students and two faculty members from the University of Colorado. Both universities delivered introductory speeches about their objectives, goals, mission and vision. They ended their visit with a group photo and a networking session.
