Ms. Daina Yesuraj is an accomplished lecturer and researcher with extensive expertise in various fields such as biotechnology, bioinformatics, sustainability, and agricultural sustainability. Holding an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a Post Grad in Bioinformatics, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, even obtaining a Google certified educator Level I certification.

With a teaching focus on subjects like Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Sustainability, Health & Society, and Human Biology, Ms. Yesuraj's passion lies in both educating and conducting groundbreaking research. Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including investigating the effects of seaweed fertilizers on plant growth and exploring the therapeutic potential of seaweed compounds in cosmeceuticals, specifically targeting the MENA region market. She is also dedicated to addressing the retention of at-risk students in higher education in the UAE and advancing agricultural sustainability through the innovative use of hydroponics for date palm cultivation.

Ms. Yesuraj has contributed significantly to the scientific community through her published research papers, which include topics such as sustainable food resources, antibiotic and heavy metal resistance, and the efficacy of seaweed sap in improving maize yield. She is an active member of professional societies like the Biomedical Engineering Society and the International Phycological Society, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Additionally, she holds a premium membership with the Institute for Engineering, Research & Publication and serves as a committee member for PRME MENA region. Ms. Yesuraj's dedication to her field is further exemplified by her role as a Professional Ambassador for the Institute for Engineering, Research & Publication.
