On March 22^nd, 2017, the University of Dubai (UD) students attended the first day of 6^th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2017), which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Students witnessed a panel conducted by former US Vice – President Al Gore tackling the topic of “Climate Change…are there real solutions?” followed by two sessions on “The Public and Private Sectors: Real Partnership towards Sustainable Development” and the “Concepts of Microcredit and Microfinance.” The later was delivered by Muhammad Yunus, distinguished Nobel Peace Prize winner for founding the Grameen Bank.
